During their time in the Nursery programme, the children are introduced to the Montessori Method. The carefully prepared environment is filled with a variety of Montessori materials, which are presented with a learning objective and promotes the development of the child towards concentration, coordination, confidence, independence, perseverance and social skills.

The children learn to respect the work of others and their personal space. They take an active role in maintaining their environment, which is divided into five main areas of the Montessori curriculum, namely Practical Life, Sensorial, Number Work, Language and Culture.

The child’s creative expression is encouraged through art activities. Music & movement is also an integral feature of the programme. Through listening, singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments, the children’s interest in music is heightened.

The children are immersed in English as their first language throughout the day. They are also introduced to Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Outdoor play and appreciation of nature are important features of the programme. Our fun-filled outdoor activities include tree climbing, picnic @ the garden, water play, sensorial play, sand play and gardening.
