Faisal Cup…the Finals
For our first Giving Tree project we partnered with the NGO Dignity for Children Foundation. Dignity organised an annual sports event called Faisal Cup, which is a football and netball tournament for children from underprivileged backgrounds.
We were honored to sponsor 1,000 yellow caps for all the participants of the finals playoffs, which was held on Saturday 22nd August 2015. Truly, we had an enjoyable time in the hot sun watching and cheering the exciting final matches. We were the ones who were blessed as we watched the children play; having fun and yet giving it all they had…playing with all their heart and soul. The laughter, cheering, friendship and comradeship we experienced that day stayed with us long after we left.
